A short walk north up Via Proconsolo brings us to Il Duomo - the symbol of Florence. Designed by Michelangelo in the 13th century, this great orange coloured dome is Florence's most important landmark. The same distance in the other direction takes us to the River Arno, the stunning Ponte Vecchio and one of the world's finest galleries, the Uffizi, where original masterpieces by Michelangelo, Botticelli and Caravaggio provide a backdrop to the most stunning views of the cityscape.
How to Reach us:
From Amerigo Vespucci (Florence) Airport a short coach journey brings you to Santa Maria Novella Railway Station, Florence's principal station. From there the hotel is a 1 km taxi ride. Alternatively, a 7 km taxi ride directly from the airport may be even more convenient.
By road, if coming from the south take the exit for Firenze Sud from the A1 Northbound. From the north take the exit for Firenze Signa from the A1 Southbound. From the A11 (Pisa - Firenze) take the exit for Firenze Nord.
